Calendar of Events
September 11 – Breakfast 8:30 -10 a.m. in Regency Gardens (Best Western Hotel, West Hwy 50) Regency Room. Kenny Johnston, Executive Director of the Kansas Democratic Party, will be our speaker.
10 am - 12 pm Party Headquarters opens at 24 E. 7th, Emporia. Coffee & doughnuts will be served - come join us!
September 12 - Fiesta (Mexican Independence Day) Parade 11:30 am from Riverside School, Emporia to Las Casitas Park via South Ave. Secretary of State Chris Biggs plans to participate, as does House candidate Mike Dorcey. Voter registration booth from 1 to 6pm at Las Casitas Park.
September 20 - 7pm, Albert Taylor Hall, Emporia State University (Tentative) Debate between Congressional Candidates Alan Jilka (D) & Tim Huelskamp (R). Jilka has confirmed, Huelskamp has not.
October 9 - Breakfast 8:30 -10 a.m. in Regency Gardens (Best Western Hotel, West Hwy 50) Regency Room
November 2 – General election
November 13 – Breakfast 8:30 -10 a.m. in Regency Gardens (Best Western Hotel, West Hwy 50) Regency Room
